Are you ready to take your business to the next level? T Levels are new courses coming in September 2020, which will follow GCSEs and will be equivalent to 3 A Levels. These 2-year courses have been developed in collaboration with employers so that the content meets the needs of industry and prepares students for work. Industry placements of around 45 days are an integral part of T levels and are already helping employers go further forward, faster. In this session, the Department for Education’s T Level Employer Readiness Team will:
• Educate on the upcoming T Level qualifications and their benefits to employers
• Inspire delegates to provide industry placements through creating valuable learning experiences for local young people, whilst developing a sustainable hiring strategy.
• Explore industry specific barriers and identify solutions
• Share industry placement case studies from employers
