SPEAKER PROFILE

Ian is the Head of Privacy & Data Protection for Cox Automotive UK and its group companies. He joined the company in August 2017 and is responsible for overseeing GDPR implementation and compliance across the group. Prior to joining Cox Automotive, he worked for the Information Commissioner’s Office for ten years. He worked as a senior policy officer and a group manager across the various parts of the ICO’s policy function. He has a Masters degree in Information Rights Law & Practice and was also joint course director for and taught on the ICO’s accredited BCS certificate in data protection course.
