SPEAKER PROFILE

Stanley Wang is a Data Scientist at SEGA Europe. He uses data to develop predictive models, to analyse player behaviour and to predict how products will perform in the future. He has played a key role in the introduction and development of machine learning as part of a data-driven strategy to improve game design, marketing and business strategy.

Stanley graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2016 with a BSc in Computer Science and then with an MSc in Speech & Language Processing in 2017 where his thesis involved the prediction of human emotion from speech recordings. At SEGA, Stanley has given talks helping to provide an introduction for those with an interest in machine learning and is passionate about public engagement in data science.
